SYRIA — A member of the Elite British Special Air Service took out an ISIS member as he taught recruits how to properly decapitate the enemy.

According to The Daily Caller, the sniper used an Israeli-made Dan .338 bolt-action rifle with a noise suppressor to make the head shot from some 3,000 feet away.

“One minute he was standing there and the next his head had exploded. The commander remained standing upright for a couple of seconds before collapsing and that’s when panic set in. We later heard most of the recruits deserted. We got rid of 21 terrorists with one bullet,” a military witness reportedly said in the report.

The sniper had assistance from 12 fellow soldiers, who managed to sneak into a jihadi compound before the shot was fired, IBTimes reported.

The Special Air Service (SAS) is a special forces unit of the British Army. This special forces unit undertakes a number of roles including covert reconnaissance, counter-terrorism, direct action, hostage rescue and human intelligence gathering.
