JACKSON, Miss. — A man was fatally shot while opening the doors to a Church in Jackson Sunday morning. Police believe robbery was the motive.
The 62-year-old victim was gunned down at the scene in the 1700 block of Hill Avenue before the suspects fled in his pickup truck.
The stolen truck is a blue 2018 Dodge Ram, tag A110355. Police say the suspects are also traveling in an older model green pickup truck with a damaged rear windshield.
