DORAL, Florida — A Doral police officer was struck by gunfire at a training center Wednesday.
The incident happened at the Miami Dade Public Safety Training Institute — located at 9601 NW 58th Street.
The wounded officer was taken to a hospital by a life-flight helicopter.
The extent of the officer’s injuries were not known.
