Former NFL Star Charged with Rape, Kidnapping, Sodomy

SAN DIEGO — On Thursday, at about 1:05 p.m., detectives from the Sheriff’s Major Crimes Division arrested Kellen Winslow II on an outstanding arrest warrant. Winslow is being charged with the following:

– 2 counts of 209 PC – Kidnapping with intent to commit rape
– 2 counts of 261(a)(2) PC – Forcible rape
– 1 count of 286(c)(2)(A) PC – Forcible sodomy
– 1 count of 288a(c)(2)(A) PC – Forcible oral copulation
– 2 counts of 459 PC – Residential burglary
– 1 count of 314 PC – Indecent exposure

Officials did not release further information about the arrest.

Following the arrest, a search warrant was executed at Winslow’s residence.

This is the second time in a week the form NFL player has been arrested. On June 7th, he was charged with residential burglary.

Winslow played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, and New York Jets.
