PORT JEFFERSON, Long Island — A man armed with a samurai sword was fatally shot by a liquor store employee on Long Island Thursday.
The incident went down at the Port Jeff Liquors — located at 156 E Main Street.
According to WABC, the clerk ‘called 911 to report a man entered the store and was swinging the sword when an employee shot the man.’
The suspect died at the scene.
It was unclear if the incident was a robbery attempt. Police are investigating.
