Rapper NBA YoungBoy Arrested at Atlanta Hotel

GEORGIA — The rapper known as ‘NBA YoungBoy’ was arrested on multiple charges at a metro Atlanta hotel Monday.

Police took the rapper, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, into custody at the Hyatt House in downtown Atlanta.

WSB-TV reported: Officials with the Atlanta Police Department said a housekeeper at a metro hotel entered a room occupied by NBA YoungBoy and a woman identified as Starr Thigpen after knocking several times.

Police said the rapper told Thigpen to get the housekeeper out of the room. Police said that’s when Thigpen assaulted the housekeeper, striking her in the face.


The scuffle continued in the hallway before the employee could escape.

Gaulden was charged with disorderly conduct, use of fighting words, disorderly conduct – physical obstruction of another and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

The woman was also booked on several charges.
