Three victims in the Isla Vista mass shooting that left seven people dead and several others injured Friday night have been identified.
The gunman, identified by an attorney for his father as Elliot Rodger, died of a gunshot wound to the head, Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown said.

Christopher Ross Martinez: A grieving father identified his 20-year-old son as a victim in Friday’s mass shooting in Isla Vista at the site of a news conference Saturday afternoon, according to NBC News.
A childhood photo of Martinez was handed to reporters at the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office.
Veronika Weiss: The Westlake High School graduate was in her first year at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Katie Cooper: Friends told reporters that one of Weiss’ sisters at the Delta Delta
Delta sorority, Cooper, was also among those killed.
