FLORIDA — Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives are releasing the identities of the woman and man found dead on Monday in an apparent murder-suicide in Deerfield Beach.
At 11 a.m. March 5, Regional Communications received a call requesting a welfare check be done for Beverly Tosch, 75, who lived at 2285 Deer Creek Alba Way. When BSO deputies responded, they found her, her son, Steven Tosch, and a dog fatally shot.
Detectives say that the 43-year-old son killed his mom and the dog before turning the gun on himself in what Broward County’s medical examiner’s office has deemed a murder-suicide.
A motive was not known.
