Man Shot In The Chest With Crossbow Bolt At Seattle Homeless Encampment

SEATTLE – A man was injured in crossbow attack Thursday afternoon at a Capitol Hill encampment.

Around 12:20 PM, police received a report of an assault in the 800 block of Bellevue Place East, where officers found a man with a crossbow bolt sticking out of his chest.

Medics treated the man and transported him to Harborview Medical Center.

Police learned the victim had been involved in an altercation with another man, who shot the victim with a crossbow and fled the scene. Officers collected evidence at the encampment and continue to investigate.
