WASHINGTON, DC (CNN) – A man stripped naked in front of the White House on Friday and got into a scuffle with an officer who tried to subdue him.
George Ogilvie, a spokesman for the Secret Service, said Michel Bechard approached the officers and undressed. When officers tried to subdue him, he assaulted one of them and was arrested.
After officers subdued Bechard, they put his pants back on, covered his upper body with a cloth and took him to an ambulance.
Bechard was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to Ogilvie.
The White House didn’t go on lockdown as a result of the incident.
