MANHUNT: $30K Reward Offered As US Marshals Search For Alleged Killer of D.C. Mom

Washington, DC – The U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force is working with Metropolitan Police Department and offering up to $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a Southeast DC man suspected in a July 19 homicide. MPD offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons responsible for each homicide committed in the District of Columbia.

Wonell A. Jones Jr., 34, is charged with first-degree homicide in the death of Audora Williams, 33, who was shot to death at a residence in the 2900 block of Knox Place, Southeast. Williams was the mother of Jones’ children, who were present when she was killed. Williams had been granted a civil protection order against Jones.

Jones should be considered armed and dangerous.
