WOODBURN, Ore. — Three teenagers escaped from MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility in Woodburn at about 12:45 a.m. Sunday. Warrants have been issued for their arrest, and law enforcement are actively searching for the youth.

The three young men are considered a safety risk to themselves and to others. They are:

  • Preston Andrizzi, age 19, convicted of assault 2 in Marion County
  • Anthony Fitz-Henry, age 18, adjudicated for burglary 2 in Marion County (Anthony currently has short hair, contrary to the photo below)
  • Christian Goin, age 17, adjudicated for assault 4 in Linn County

All three young men lived in the same living unit at MacLaren. They assaulted a MacLaren staff member, stole that person’s keys, and escaped through a hole in MacLaren’s perimeter fence.

The staff member went to the hospital, received medical attention, and was released. The hole in the perimeter fence has been repaired.

All three young men are from the Salem and Albany areas. If anyone sees these youth, please call 911. If someone has information about the youths’ whereabouts, they should call Oregon State Police at 503-375-3555 (reference case # SP21-078472).

MacLaren is on lockdown status while state police investigate this incident. Sunday visitation has been cancelled, and families who had visitation scheduled for today were notified.

Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) is providing support to the other youth and staff who were impacted by this incident.

“Our number one concern is protecting the safety and security of our staff, the youth in our custody, and the community,” said Sarah Evans, deputy communications manager for OYA. “We will be assisting the police with their investigation and will be conducting an internal review to ensure that this type of incident does not happen again.”
