Metro-North will operate additional trains on the New Haven Line starting Wednesday, October 2, due to an increase in power capacity to Con Edison’s temporary substations. With this new schedule in place, Metro-North’s capacity on the line rises to 65% of regular train service. See specific schedules, and service details. The interim limited solution provided by the temporary substations still does not provide full power capacity, and as a result, Metro-North still cannot operate full train service.
