A Mobile, Alabama city councilman was shot in face during a robbery Saturday in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The tour bus Councilman C.J. Small Jr. was on was rushed and robbed by assailants when he was struck.
According to WEAR, ‘Small was in South Africa attending The South African Funeral Director & Morticians Association Convention.’
He was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition, the station reported.
No word on arrests of the gunmen.
