TULARE, Calif. — Judge Juliet Boccone sentenced Coral Lytle, age 42, to 4 years in state prison and lifetime sex offender registration for a series
of crimes against minors which started in 2017.

Lytle was convicted of having sex with a pair of teenage boys, who were friends with her daughter.

On October 1, 2019, Lytle pleaded no contest to four counts of unlawful sexual intercourse, four counts of meeting a minor for lewd purposes, four counts of contact with a minor for a sexual offense, and nine counts of lewd act upon a child. Each count is a felony. While on bail awaiting adjudication of the felony charges, Lytle was further charged with four misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She also pleaded no contest to these charges on October 1, 2019. Lytle pleaded to all charges filed against her by the Office of the District Attorney.

Prosecutors made no plea offers in either case. Lytle potentially faced over 17 years in prison if the case went to trial.

The felony crimes were committed in September and October 2017 against two minor male victims. The misdemeanor crimes were committed from February 2019 to June 2019 against two minor females and one minor male to whom she provided alcohol and vape pens.

“Coral Lytle is a predator and this office was prepared for years to tell that to a jury. While I am grateful that she will serve prison time and have to register as a sex offender, the sentence doesn’t reflect the lifetime impact she made on her victims,” said District Attorney Tim Ward.

“This case is not a joke and our office is appalled by some of the social media comments. These are real victims who have to deal with the real consequences of Coral Lytle’s crimes. There is no place for these types of victim shaming comments in today’s society.”
