Dania Beach, FLA. – The mother of a young child was gunned down in a beach bar where she was meeting with old friends and showing off her new car to her family local media reported.
Marissa Harris, 32, was killed during an exchange of gunfire that erupted at Rookie’s Ale House in Dania Beach.
Around 2:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a shooting that occurred inside the bar located on Griffin Road and found a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded and pronounced the victim, identified as Harris, dead on scene.
Investigators believe that an argument between two men escalated into a shooting inside the bar that killed the female bystander.
Detectives are looking for the two suspects involved in the shooting.
