
CEDAR PARK, Texas — Officers with the Cedar Park Police Department came under gunfire while responding to a call at a residence Sunday. At least three officers were hit and have been taken to a hospital where they are in stable condition.
“We are on scene of a shooting where multiple Cedar Park Police Officers have been shot while responding to a call at a home off Natalie Cove,” the department said on Twitter.
“Subject is barricaded inside the home and multiple law enforcement agencies are on scene.”
At this time we can confirm three Cedar Park Police Officers have been shot. They are at a local hospital in stable condition.

The scene is near Leander High School. Residents are being told to avoid the area as the scene remains active and the suspect has not been taken into custody.
Police did not say what prompted the initial call.
