Nashville Man Charged with This Morning’s Fatal Shooting of His Brother

NASHVILLE, TENN. — North Precinct detectives this morning charged Kameron W. Ross, 24, with criminal homicide for the fatal shooting of his brother in the family’s 608 Pierpoint Drive home.

Kevin Ross, 37, suffered a gunshot wound to his chest and died at the scene.

Officers responded to the residence at 1:30 a.m. The investigation shows that Kameron shot Kevin during a verbal argument. Kameron fled the residence after the shooting, but returned a few hours later and surrendered. During an interview, Kameron admitted to the shooting and showed officers where he hid the gun.

Kameron Ross is also charged with unlawful gun possession by a convicted felon. He was found guilty of aggravated burglary in 2015.
