New York Man Stabs Landlord Several Times With Kitchen Knife, Police Say

Wappinger, New York – On January, 9, 2018, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Nathan B. Lee, age 25, of Wappinger, for Assault in the 2nd degree, a class D felony, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor.

On January 9, 2018 at 8:30 p.m., Troopers were dispatched to Degarmo Hills Road for a report of a stabbing. Troopers arrived on scene and located both the victim and Lee. Lee was taken into custody without incident. Medical attention was provided to both the victim and Lee.

Lee was taken to Vassar Brothers Hospital in stable condition and the victim was taken to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital also in stable condition. Preliminary investigation found that Lee stabbed his landlord several times with a kitchen knife. Lee resides in the same house as the landlord.

Police did not say how the confrontation started.

Lee was arraigned before the town of Wappinger Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
