On Monday, at 2:24 PM, the New York State Police received a report of human skeletal remains on the Southern State Parkway, in the wooded area, eastbound near exit 15 south.
The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation as well as the Nassau County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating.
At this time there are no signs foul play, police said.
