NJ Man, 20, Charged With Having 18,806 Child Porn Files, Sharing 8,215

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Justin K. Kinchen; single; unemployed, of 122 Elmwood Terrace, Apt. A, Elmwood Park, NJ on the charges of Possession And Distribution Of Child Pornography.

On Wednesday, October 30, 2019, during the course of an Internet child pornography investigation, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the home of Kinchen. The investigation revealed that Kinchen used the Internet to view, download, or possess approximately 18,806 digital files depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children. In addition, Kinchen used several social media and file-sharing applications to share with others approximately 8,215 files depicting nude or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children.

As a result of the investigation, Kinchen was arrested on October 30, 2019 in Paramus, NJ and charged with one count of Distribution Of Child Pornography in an amount greater than 1,000 files, and one count of Possession Of Child Pornography in an amount greater than 1,000 files. Kinchen was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.
