NYC School Employee Accused of Luring Child To Hotel Arrested Again For Sexting Same Victim: Police

New York State police arrested Abraham Silverberg, 51, from Brooklyn, NY for Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child 1st (felony), Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child 2nd (felony), and three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Police say Silverberg, an employee at PS 116 in Manhattan, sent illicit photographs of himself and engaged in sexual conduct with a child less than 13 years old in Kings County.

Silverberg was arrested for Luring a Child, Attempted Rape and Endangering the Welfare of a Child on March 14, 2018 by the Troop F Child Abuse Unit, when he attempted to lure the same victim to a hotel in Sullivan County, NY for the purpose of engaging in sexual conduct.

Silverberg was arraigned in Kings County Supreme Court before Justice William Miller. He was remanded to NYC Department of Corrections on $250,000 bail and is currently being held without bail in Sullivan County Jail.
