NYPD Housing Cops Recover Cache Of Weapons, 2 Arrested

NYPD Housing cops arrested two men and recovered a cache of weapons last week in Manhattan after attempting to conduct an arrest warrant. Officers assigned to the Police Service Area 5 Anti-Crime team were attempting to serve an arrest warrant inside 410 East 120 Street when they observed illegal narcotics while they spoke to a resident.

Further investigation led the officers to place the man under arrest, as well as a second man who returned to the apartment. A search warrant was subsequently obtained and the following items were recovered:

.45 caliber revolver (loaded)
.44 caliber revolver (loaded)
.45 caliber handgun (loaded)
.25 caliber handgun
Single shot shotgun
.30 caliber rifle
.22 caliber rifle
(4) imitation pistols
Assorted knives/ammunition
A bullet resistant vest
A bazooka tube (Inert)
35 Glassines of heroin
2 Glassines of crack cocaine
Small amount of marijuana
Assorted pills
Approximately 44,000 Dollars in US Currency
Arrested: Male 53 and Male 55

Charges: Criminal Possession of a Weapon (multiple counts), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (multiple counts)
