The NYPD is looking for a suspect who broke into a woman’s apartment in the middle of the night and raped her at knifepoint. Police say the woman was asleep when the assailant entered at 3:30AM Monday. Police say it’s unclear how the suspect gained access into the apartment in Manhattan’s Little Italy. They say there were no signs of forced entry.
Police released a sketch of the suspect on Tuesday. They ask anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
