NYPD Seeks Group of Men Who Viciously Attacked Passengers on J Train

Police in New York City are seeking several men wanted for questioning in a brutal assault of two passengers on the J train.

Around 9:00 p.m. Friday, the suspects reportedly got into a argument with the victims when a melee ensued.

One 29-year-old victim was struck in the head multiple times with a hammer, police say—he was transported to a hospital in serious condition.

The suspect descriptions, via WNBC: One of the men was last seen wearing a gray coat and black pants. The second was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and yellow boots. Another was last seen wearing a black hoodie, and the fourth was last seen wearing a black and brown coat with a black du-rag on his head.

The suspects were last seen on foot leaving the Bowery Street station.
