NYPD Seeks To ID Suspect After Woman Sexually Assaulted, Robbed In Park

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video regarding a sex assault incident that occurred within the confines of the 34th Precinct.

It was reported to police that on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 1825 hours, at the corner of West 218 Street and Indian Road, inside of Inwood Hill Park, the 37-year-old female victim was walking when an unknown individual approached her and displayed a black firearm. The individual forcibly removed the victim’s wallet and gold i-Phone SE and forced the victim to perform a sex act on him. The individual then fled the location heading southbound on Indian Road. The victim was removed via EMS to Allan Pavilion Hospital for evaluation, where she was treated and released.

The individual is described as a male Black, with a slim build and dark complexion, last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black & red sneakers and a black & red back pack.
