Philly Police Nab Suspect Wanted For Several Abductions & Sexual Assaults

The Philadelphia Police Department has arrested suspect Manuel Cintron who was wanted for multiple sexual assaults in Fishtown.

The photo is 24 year old Manuel Cintron from 40XX North 6th Street. Manuel was taken into custody on Monday, May 18, 2015, on the 7100 block of Montour Street for his involvement in the following incidents, and charged with: Rape, Sexual Assault, Indecent Assault, Kidnapping, False Imprisonment, Violation of Uniform Firearms Act-No License, and a slew of related offenses.

On May 1, 2015, at approximately 4:20 am, a female was walking westbound on the 1100 block of Ruscomb Street as she approached 12th and Ruscomb Street, she observed an unknown a male near the corner. When she reached 12th Street the male approached her, produced a handgun and verbally threatened her.

The male attempted force her into his vehicle that was parked at the corner. As the male tried pushing the female in the vehicle, she began fighting him off. She was able to brake away from the male and ran to a Septa bus and later notified police.

On Friday, May 1, 2015, at 5:30 am, the victim, a 22 year-old female, was walking east on the 2000 block of East York Street when she was approached by an unknown male who pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at her forcing her into an early 1990’s Dodge or Chrysler mini-van with the rear seat removed.

The victim was driven to an unknown location where she was sexually assaulted inside the vehicle then released at Almond and Boston Streets. The suspect then fled and was last seen west on York Street from Almond Street.
