Police have now arrested a 21-year-old woman who is accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death after confessing on Facebook.
Nakasia James, aged 21, had been sought for questioning in the stabbing death of Dorian Powell in San Bernardino.
Reports indicate that the pair had been involved in a domestic dispute which turned violent.
Investigators acted on a tip and found James Nakasia hiding in an apartment 40 miles southeast of San Bernardino.
Nakasia James was booked into West Valley Detention Center on a $1million bail.
Dorian Powell was found stabbed to death after police received a 911 call stating a man had been stabbed by his girlfriend.
Officers arrived on the scene at 2:30AM, when they discovered the victim’s body.
The post she made on Facebook has now been deleted.
The post said: ‘I gt the knife and and stabbed him ddnt think I would hurt him BT he died and I’m on the run.’
‘Btsorryy lord hopefully u forgive me! And sorry Dorian Powell rip.’
