VIRGINIA – Newport News police are asking for help identifying a suspect in connection with a recent robbery and homicide investigation.
On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, approximately 11:46 p.m., Newport News police responded to a suspicious situation at a business in the 1400 block of Kiln Creek Parkway.
Two adult males were found inside the business with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced deceased at the scene. The victims were later identified as 52-year-old Preyas Patel, of Yorktown, and 35-year-old Logan Edward Thomas, of Newport News.
