NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Homicide Unit detectives overnight charged Oswaldo Corado-Callejas, 16, with criminal homicide for Wednesday 4:15 p.m. fatal shooting of Lee V. Turner Jr., 22, outside the Tornado Bus Station at 4031 Nolensville Pike.
Information on a suspect getaway vehicle provided by a witness led to Corado-Callejas’ Southgate Avenue home, where he was taken into custody late Wednesday night. During an interview, Corado-Callejas implicated himself in the shooting, saying Turner, of Nashville, was sought out in retaliation for comments he had made against a gang, police said.
Corado-Callejas was booked into juvenile detention. At least one other arrest in this case is anticipated.
