MIAMI — Rapper Kodak Black was arrested by authorities in Miami Saturday evening — just before he was scheduled to perform at the ‘Rolling Loud’ hip-hop festival.
Kodak Black, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was taken into custody on federal and state weapons charges, according to the U.S. Marshals.
The Miami-Dade police department and the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were also involved in the arrest.
The rapper has a history of arrests. Last month, he was arrested in New York while trying to enter the U.S. from Canada.
