LEXINGTON, S.C. – Lexington County deputies have arrested a man after reviewing one of his social media posts that linked to a YouTube video titled “List of people who ought to be killed.”

Christopher Raines, also known as A.J. Blues, is charged with threatening a public employee, according to arrest warrants. Raines, 43, is also charged with unlawful communication.

“Raines posted a link to the video from one of his social media accounts early this morning. He tagged a senior administrator with Lexington County School District One, a private citizen, and a few government and community organizations in the post,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “We take threats against anyone’s safety and well-being very seriously. Once we became aware of the post, investigators went to work on this case immediately.”

Koon said Raines was located and arrested this afternoon without incident. He’s being held in the Lexington County Detention Center while he awaits a bond hearing.
