Search underway for 3 teens who escaped Tenn. detention facility

NASHVILLE – Police are searching for three escapees from Youth Opportunity juvenile detention facility, 279 Stewart’s Ferry Pike. Just before 3 a.m. Sunday, a fourth escapee was located at a nearby convenience store and taken into custody.

Ervyon Moore, 16, of Chattanooga, Bruce Johnson Jr., 15, of Clarksville, and Bryon Reid, 17, of Johnson City escaped Saturday at 11:30 p.m. after reportedly overpowering a guard and escaping on foot. All three are wearing blue sweatpants and gray t-shirts provided by the facility.

According to WSMV, the facility is run by a company with a poor history.
