Severe Weather Injures 2 In Istanbul, Turkey

ISTANBUL — Initial reports indicate at least two people injured after severe weather hits the city located in north-western Turkey.

NTV Television reports part of a stone wall surrounding a cemetery was demolished in the storm, which is responsible for injuring two people. Footage shows rescue crews and residents helping to remove the stones in search of survivors.

High winds toppled a large crane which fell on oil barrels creating a massive explosion believed to be captured in the video below.

Heavy downpours disrupted rush hour traffic, stranding vehicles in flooded waters and caused massive airport delays.
