Sex Crimes detectives are working to identify a man who on August 4th attacked a 27-year-old woman outside her hotel room in downtown Nashville.
The suspect is seen following the victim on foot on Demonbreun Street and then into her hotel, the JW Marriot, 201 8th Avenue South around 11:30 p.m. He got onto the elevator with the victim. When she exited the elevator, he hung back until she swiped her key card to enter her room. He then sprinted toward her and attempted to push her into her room. She fought back and he repeatedly slapped her in the face. She screamed and he ran off.
The suspect is a white man in his 30s or 40s. He is approximately six feet tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He wore a blue shirt and khaki shorts with black/red Adidas tennis shoes.
