HOUSTON, Texas — On Wednesday, Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit Investigators and Harris County Sheriff’s Office Gang Task Force Investigators arrested Sonnie Reyes, 21, in the Murder of eleven year old Kamren Jones.

On June 9, 2019, at 4:20 AM, suspects fired numerous rounds from the roadway into a home located at 15117 N Brentwood Drive.
Kamren was struck by a projectile as he slept. According to KTRK, detectives believe the shooters’ intended target was a previous tenant.
He died at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
