WAYNE COUNTY, NY — The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Shawn M. Meacham, 25 years of age, 5’11”, 165 pounds for escaping the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Jail Facility, Lyons, New York.
Meacham was last seen wearing a blue button up shirt, black shorts and no shoes in the Geneva City limits.
Meacham was incarcerated at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Jail Facility serving time for violating the conditions of his probation for an original charge of Burglary Third.
This afternoon (Sunday, July 2, 2017) at about 4:00pm, Meacham impersonated a weekend inmate scheduled for release and walked out of the Jail Facility.
Meacham will be facing Escape charges when located.
Meacham has no violence in his criminal history.
