Suspect Posing as Driver For Hire Accused of Sexually Assaulting Man In DC, Police Say

WASHINGTON — Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with a First Degree Sexual Abuse offense that occurred on Sunday in the 1300 block of H Street, Northeast.

At 3:00 am, the suspect was posing as a driver of a vehicle for hire. The male victim entered the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect stopped the vehicle at the listed location and sexually assaulted the victim.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his late 20’s to early 30’s, with balding hair, and a thick beard. He was last seen wearing a beige hooded shirt and black and dark blue sweatpants. The suspect was driving a small black sports utility vehicle. No further description is available at this time.
