Suspect wanted for Impersonating a NYPD detective


The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video in connection to a criminal impersonation that occurred within the confines of the 9th Precinct. Details are as follows:

It was reported to police that on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at approximately 11:00 p.m. a 29 year old female victim, was in the vicinity of 121 Saint Marks Place, and realized that her wallet and cell phone were missing. The victim went home and called 911, by the next morning the victim was contacted by unidentified individual who claimed to be an NYPD detective stating that he arrested a person who took her credit cards and cell phone and requested the access code for her cell phone to review call history. The victim complied and soon after that her cell phone was turned off and several unauthorized purchases were made with her credit cards.
