At 4:51 AM, officers responded to N. Nebraska Ave and E. McBerry St for the report of shots heard in the area. Arriving on-scene within seconds, officers found an adult male, later identified as Ronald Felton, deceased in the street. Witnesses tell police that Felton was crossing the street to meet someone when the suspect came up behind him and shot him.

Police say Felton was walking to a Church to help feed the homeless when he was killed, possibly making him the fourth victim of a suspected serial killer.

A perimeter was immediately set up in an effort to contain the suspect—-who has not been found.

“This has got to stop,” Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn said in a news conference. “We will hunt this person down until we find them.”
