According to the New York Times, Actress Tanya Roberts indeed died Monday night after her publicist said that she had died and later said that she was still alive.
The spokesperson for Roberts said Monday she was alive after he sent out a press release saying she passed away.
Publicist Mike Pingel initially said she had died at 65-years-old. He claimed Roberts collapsed at her California home after walking her dogs on Christmas Eve and she died on Sunday January 3rd.
Pingel even told CNN, “I’m devastated, I’ve been friends with Tanya for over 20 years. She was full of energy and we always had a wild time together. She was truly an Angel and I will miss her so much.”
TMZ reported: We even got a quote from the rep from Tanya’s husband, Lance, saying, “As I held her in her last moments, she opened her eyes.”
Now the rep, Mike Pingel, tells TMZ, Lance got a call just after 10 AM Monday from the hospital saying Tanya was still alive. Pingel said Lance truly believed Tanya had died.
