Following the Florida school shooting, Jim Gard said he ushered students to safety and was lauded for his efforts.
One headline read, “Teacher protected students during Florida school shooting.” A tweet apparently written by one of Gard’s students says he is “nothing but a coward.”
The tweet from an alleged junior in Gard’s class, recalled hearing the fire alarm and leaving the classroom. But he reached the stairs, he heard bullets and turned to run back to the classroom but the door was locked.
