GRAPEVINE, Texas – Texas cops arrested two suspects who allegedly tried to steal 250 gallons of diesel fuel from a 7-11 Eleven gas station.

The Grapevine Police Department said: Earlier this month we responded to a possible fuel theft in progress at a gas station. A driver parked next to the pump took off as soon as we arrived, so one officer shared the vehicle information with another officer, who then tracked down the car on his motorcycle. That quick decision and teamwork helped capture both thieves. Turns out, a device had been attached to the pump to steal diesel fuel. A 250 gallon tank was discovered in the bed of their pickup, and evidence proved this was the suspects’ second time there that morning. Both of them were arrested and charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.

The suspects, 28-year-old Annabel Collado Cruz and 47-year-old Lisandro Campana-Fruto, were charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.

“They’re accused of taking 460 gallons of fuel that morning in Grapevine,” police said.
