Tourist Stabbed To Death By Girlfriend’s 15-Year-Old Son Near Las Vegas Strip, Police Say

LAS VEGAS – On January 2, 2023 at approximately 7:20 p.m., LVMPD Dispatch received a report of a stabbing at a hotel room in the 3900 block of Koval Lane. Responding officers located an unresponsive adult male suffering from an apparent stab wound. Medical personnel transported the victim to Sunrise Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The investigation by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicates the victim was visiting Las Vegas with his girlfriend and her children. One of the children, a 15-year-old male, got into a fight with his brother, during which the mother and the victim stepped in to break it up. After the fight, the 15-year-old grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect was arrested at the scene and transported to Clark County Juvenile Hall where he was booked for Open Murder.

The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
