Tucker Carlson’s Ratings Nearly Double Megyn Kelly’s on Fox News

Fox News’s Tucker Carlson has nearly doubled the ratings of his predecessor, Megyn Kelly, when compares to the same period last year.

Tucker Carlson Tonight performed with a 95% increase in the demographic of 25-50 year old viewers.

Comparing the same time frame from January 11 to 22, Carlson achieved an average of 775,000 viewers, nearly doubling Kelly’s 398,000.

Carlson’s show is up 37 percent in total viewership with an average of 3.73 million total viewers, compared with Kelly’s 2016 average of 2.72 million.

Kelly announced on January 3 that she was leaving Fox News Channel for a new job at NBC News.

Kelly is expected to begin her new role at NBC in September.

Carlson, who has hosted shows on CNN, MSNBC and PBS, earned his shot at Fox’s prime-time lineup by doing well as a replacement for Greta Van Susteren.
