Tulsa, OK Murder Suspects Arrested in Wichita, KS

Wichita, KS – The U.S. Marshals Service arrested a man and woman in Maize, KS in connection with a Tulsa murder. Forty-two-year-old Kenneth Williams, also known as Jazzie, and 33 year-old La’shae Terrell are now in custody.

Tulsa Police said the pair were wanted in the shooting death of Louis Poole. Poole died after an argument turned into a gunfight at the Riviera West Apartments on December 29, 2018.

Warrants were issued for both Williams and Terrell on January 3rd, 2019, but they both fled the state of Oklahoma. Information was developed that Williams and Terrell may be hiding out in the west Wichita area and in the town of Maize, KS, since the shooting. On the same day the arrest warrants were issued, Deputy Marshals were able to track down the suspects, who were staying with an associate at the Fieldstone Apartments in Maize, KS. The associate of the suspects was also arrested on unrelated charges.

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional fugitive task force comprised of the United States Marshals Service, Kansas Department of Corrections, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
