GATLINBURG, Tennessee –Scroll down for video –A bear and a man have a close encounter at a home in Tennessee, when they both walked around a corner, not aware of the other and startle each other.
The bear fits the description of a black bear, Quad City 8 News reported.
The Get Bear Smart Society reported that if you should come into contact with a bear at home, don’t get close, secure or bear proof your home and don’t let bears get comfortable on your turf.
If a bear approaches you make noise, Bill Stiver, a wildlife biologist at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park told ABCNews.com.
