NBC News Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent and MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell was almost assaulted by a protester in the nation’s capitol Tuesday, video shows.
The unidentified person in a pink bikini is seen lunging at Mitchell as she prepared for a live TV hit before the suspect was grabbed by security and led away.
Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton is heard in the video exclaiming, “Where’s the police when you need them?!”

No one appeared to be injured and it was unclear if the would-be attacker will face any charges.
