HOUSTON, Texas – On Monday, deputies responded to the 17400 block of Woodlands Hills Drive due to a report of three children being at a park without an adult.
Deputies say the children, ages 9, 7 and 5 were found to be alone without adult supervision. The 9 year old originally told police that his mother was home. After returning them home, the boy said his mother was not at home due to her being at work.
After two hours of investigation, it was learned the mother of the children, Breanna Davis, had left her children unattended at their home while she went to work her a 12 hour shift at a local prison.
Davis was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with ‘Child Abandonment with Intent to Return.’ Her bond was set at $1,000.00.
