NASHVILLE, TENN — Domestic Violence detectives are charging Cealie James, 23, with attempted criminal homicide after she allegedly shot her girlfriend during an argument this morning inside the couple’s Haynes Garden Apartment at 2715 Whites Creek Pike.
After the shooting, James fled the area but later returned and was taken into custody. Destiny Gregory, 21, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she is in stable condition with serious injuries.
At the time of her arrest, James was free on $20,000 bond for allegedly shooting another woman in the shoulder outside a Spence Lane motel. James was arrested in this case last November.
